Flocker Next Gen Landing Pages
Following Flocker’s launch in May 2019, we began gathering feedback from users about the existing landing pages. We wanted to know what worked and what didn’t.
Many users were using the landing page as a store, and disabling the subscription or donation widgets. By doing this, the page became difficult for community members to navigate. In our next gen version, we reorganized the page to put more of a focus on the store experience. We moved merchandise to the top of the page and positioned the widgets in a new sidebar. We also better indicated items that had a subscriber discount as well as the sizes available for items. We also used larger non-lifestyle shots of the products in our thumbnails.
Because of these changes, we created new dedicated product pages for each item. These featured product-specific details, so buyers could find the information they needed.
